Day 3...On to Yosemite

Day 3

Left Riverside Campgrounds early on Monday and took a chance on a hiking trail in Andrew Molera State Park.  What a find!  First 4 pictures are from the beautiful cove that was about 1.5 mile down the in-and-out trail.  Not another soul on the trail or in the cove.  I’ll just let the pictures do the talking!  Then, on to a breakfast in Carmel.  Very cool, artsy town.  We all give the restaurant, Friar Tuck’s, a two thumbs up review.  Next was our adventure on the 17-Mile Drive along the Monterey Peninsula.  It was cold and misty in many places, so you’ll be able to figure out which pictures are from that leg of the journey.  Well worth the slight sidetracking!  Finally, our day’s travel ended at Yosemite National Park.  We were all very excited, but Eric was near tears with happiness!!  Cool hike (after unloading everything into our tent cabin) to Mirror Lake (last 5 pics).  The day ended with pizza and beer…which nearly brought ME to tears with happiness. 

Access to Internet is very tough at times-thus the delayed posts.  Some great pictures are coming from Day 4’s hiking when we can get a good signal to upload!
