Redwoods

Breathtaking, majestic, stunning….and on and on and on.  The beauty of the redwood trees consistently amazed us.  We saw a few on our first night in Big Sur, but the ones we're seeing in the northwest area of California are much taller and wider.  We understand that the redwoods inland are even wider-can’t imagine that.  We took some drives through Avenue of the Giants and Jedediah Smith National Park.  We also took a few hikes in the area.  No matter how many we saw, they were still striking in their beautiful grandeur.  The pictures don’t do them justice, but we tried!
