July 4-San Francisco
Our days of roughing it are over for now…..Michael has chosen the
Westin St. Francis for this stop. Super
fancy and gorgeous. We walked down and
checked out the Wharf District after checking in. Caught a
cab back and I enjoyed some deee-lish wings and beer while the guys had a date
night. (This much took place on the 2nd
half of July 3rd)
Started out July 4 with a cable car ride back down to the
Wharf area and rented bikes to ride across the Golden Gate Bridge. It was amazing to see the fog roll
through. After going across the bridge,
we continued on into Salsalito just in time to catch the ferry back to San
Francisco. I was worn out, but the guys
continued to the Mission District and had wine and cheese in Delores Park. They stayed here and enjoyed the fireworks
before trekking back to the hotel.
Another great day!!!
